(Formerly known as Kids' Clubhouse of the Main Line)
A licensed Early Learning Center providing modern and literacy-based education for ages 2-5
Beginner's Program
AT BRIGHT MINDS PRESCHOOL OF THE MAIN LINE
(children must be 2 years old by September 1st)
Potty training and socialization are the main focuses of our Beginner's class. Teachers encourage independence as children verbalize their needs.

Students build their vocabulary by participating in Circle Time and through whole class read-a-louds. Gross motor skills are developed through games and outdoor play in our fenced in playground.

Fine motor skills are enhanced by stringing large beads, manipulating Play-Doh, and completing sticker projects. Pretend play is encouraged in our dramatic play center. Letters, numbers, colors, and shapes are introduced.

We have a 1:6 teacher to student ratio in our Beginner's room.

Students also participate in a different enrichment activity each day, which include
Art, Science, Music, Little Engineers, and Gym.
Students learn the fundamentals of art- color, shape, lines, etc. by painting, drawing, making banners, cards, collages, and more.
Fun, hands-on science experiments are used to teach base concepts such as observing, comparing, classifying, measuring, inferring, and predicting.
During music we work on enhancing our students' fine motor skills. Class activities include singing, playing instruments such as shaky eggs and rhythm sticks, and using "musical props" such as scarves.
Students develop better gross motor skills and critical thinking skills as they participate in movement activities and games. They are introduced to classics such as "Duck, Duck, Goose", "Musical Chairs", and parachute games.
Children work together to build and problem solve using materials such as blocks, Legos, and Lincoln Logs. They build bridges using construction paper and paper cups, design Duplo dinosaurs, create marshmallow/toothpick constellations, and develop a maze of Magnatiles.
