AGES 4 YEARS BY SEPTEMBER 1st
Pre-K Program
Children must be 4 years old by September 1st
The Pre-K program is designed for children entering Kindergarten the following year. Through teacher-led and independent centers, students are introduced to upper and lowercase letters, letter sounds, rhyming, sight word recognition, shapes, sorting, and numbers 1–20.
Students use the Handwriting Without Tears program to write letters and their name with chalk, crayon, and eventually pencil. Social and emotional skills — listening, understanding feelings, and resolving conflicts — are a key part of every day.
Our goal is for every child to leave Pre-K feeling confident, capable, and excited about Kindergarten. Through a balanced approach of academic instruction, hands-on exploration, and social-emotional learning, students build the foundational skills necessary for future success while fostering a lifelong love of learning.
