AGES 2 YEARS BY SEPTEMBER 1st
Beginners 2 Program
Children must be 2 years old by September 1st
Potty training and socialization are the main focuses of our Beginners 2 class. Teachers encourage independence as children verbalize their needs.
Students build vocabulary through Circle Time and whole-class read-alouds. Gross motor skills grow through outdoor play on our fenced playground. Fine motor skills are developed through beading, Play-Doh, and sticker projects. Letters, numbers, colors, and shapes are introduced throughout the year.
As the year progresses, children are encouraged to participate more independently in classroom routines, follow multi-step directions, and practice important social skills such as sharing, taking turns, and problem-solving with peers. Through a balance of structured activities and purposeful play, students build the confidence, self-help skills, and early academic foundations needed for a successful transition to Preschool.
